Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
Place the figs, cut side up, on the prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle the figs with the orange zest and cinnamon. Drizzle with honey.
If your oven has a convection setting, turn it on and roast the figs for about 7 - 9 minutes or until they just begin to blister. If you don’t have a convection setting, roast your figs for 12 - 14 minutes or until they just start to blister.
Serve at room temperature with aged cheddar.
Arrange loosely with the citrus as the main event! Focus on the color of the spread and add any crackers or baguettes off to the side.
