Happy Holidays, everyone! We’re thrilled to present this year’s 2023 holiday gift guide – featuring four amazingly curated categories that are sure to hit every foodie note. This year, we’re ahead of the curve with our guide because, if you’re anything like us, you’re already making your list and checking it twice. So, we had to put our hats in the ring with all things yummy, cooking-centered, and kitchen-adjacent.
In terms of the guide itself, we took a similar concept to last year and made the categories that we think will either speak to you or the person/people you’re gifting to! There’s a little bit on here for everyone. Whether you’re a seasoned home cook, someone who just likes to partake at mealtime, someone who *might* have their eye on the fancier things in the kitchen, or a gift-giver with a smaller budget – we’ve got you covered.
As a note, there are certain gifts on here from our wonderful and amazing and spectacular partners who we love (and purchase for ourselves). If you choose to buy any of those specific items through the links below, you’ll also be supporting us. A win-win! So, without further ado, enjoy our 2023 Holiday Gift Guide!
They want it, but they won’t buy it for themselves…
Whether this refers to you, or someone you love…this list is for those moments you need a big, flashy gift that will blow expectations out of the water.
From Ralph Lauren’s latest coffee table book to the dessert plates that will be gracing our holiday table, these five gifts combine luxury with “oh my gosh I’ve wanted this forever”.
Each year, we find ourselves searching for stand-out gifts that will wow any foodie, homebody, or cook. We’re so happy that this selection came together for the 2023 season, because it really highlights what we’ve been loving this year (and had our eye on for our own wishlists!). The colorful coupe glasses are a recent obsession, along with the traditional Le Creuset Alpine skillet, taking us back to our roots, and seasonally special holiday dutch oven.
If you prefer to sit at the table, rather than set it…
Calling all foodies! If you’d consider yourself a fan of eating a great meal as opposed to making one, we think you’ll love these.
These five products serve as the cherry on top of any great experience at the kitchen table. For those of us who place the food above all else, these gifts are meant to place your tastebuds on center stage.
Firstly, we couldn’t start a foodie list without including our partners over at Graza and Avaline. Both the Graza Drizzle & Sizzle Duo, as well as Avaline’s newly launched Holiday set are must-trys if you haven’t already. Brightland’s pizza oil is sure to give your next pie that over-the-top finish, and Better Rhodes’ Non-Alcoholic Monthly Wine Club Subscription is great for anyone avoiding alcohol still looking to partake. And Lewis Hamilton’s newest NA tequila venture has our name written all over it this season.
For the cook in your life (hello, you!)…
What better way to whip up something special for friends, family, or yourself than with all the best materials?
Creating gift guides for our fellow home cooks are always the most exciting – because it involves plenty of items we’d ask for ourselves! These are some essentials we can’t live without, and think you need to add to your wishlist ASAP.
We treat Ina Garten’s Family Style cookbook like our bible – which should say enough about why we think you need to own it. And speaking of things every cook should have in their arsenal, the classic Cook’s Atelier Copper Whisk, along with the Crate & Barrel Silicone Utensils. These and some really great measuring cups are truly some of our most reached for items. They clean well, perform well, and we haven’t found anything else that comes close! Plus, why not have an apron with some holiday pizzaz?
Gifts the *quintessential host* would love…
Hoping to veer away from the notorious *bottle of wine* host(ess) gift? Try these on for size instead.
There are two things every host(ess) could use, either for that specific event, or an event down the line. Instead of taking a shot in the dark when it comes to that hospitable gift, try filling the blanks for them. What do we mean by that? Games, and candles.
It seems obvious, and that’s exactly why it makes so much sense! Remove the question marks around “how will I set the mood?”, or “what will we do when the night starts to wind down?”. Instead, offer some stylish candles and/or a matchstick cloche. Or go the other route with a wine-themed game board or foodie puzzle! Both of which are sure to make your host(ess) thank you later.
