Boards are our go-to for everything from the start to a convivial evening of food and friends, as the main course for lunch or dinner, or the fun finale to a meal. They can even be the theme of a potluck. Have friends bring a board that is a course of the meal (appetizers, dinner and dessert). What could be easier and as much fun?
Our recent board was inspired by an Ina Garten recipe and the heartier vibe of the winter season. After a day of skiing, we served an Italian Antipasto board ripe with Italian meats and cheeses, cherry tomatoes-on-the-vine, roasted mini sweet peppers and Calvestrano olives. The best thing about boards is that you can take creative license and add your favorites. So start planning your next gathering around a board and let us know your thoughts.
