Ring the bells! Alert the media! It’s officially the holiday season (which still feels so odd to actually say)! Ever since the clock struck midnight on November 1st, my mom and I have been ready to dive headfirst into holiday planning…and in keeping with that excitement, we are thrilled to introduce the official Moments 2021 Gift Guide. Right on time for all of your kitchen/home shopping needs!
If you notice from the title, this is only part one of the Gift Guide (otherwise known as my part!). Since my mom and I have totally different wish lists, we felt it would be best for you guys if there was a more accurate guide for your specific price point/home situation. Part one will focus on more affordable options that are perfect for apartment living, while part two will cater to the experienced cook who already owns all of the basics.
We hope you love our picks as much as we do! And you can bet that all of these have already made their way into my mom’s inbox…*wink wink nudge nudge, mom*
Happy shopping and stay tuned for part 2, coming on Sunday!
French Tart Baking Kit
$49.99
When I first laid eyes on this sweet little kit, I couldn’t NOT put it on my part of the Gift Guide. French tarts are such a fun and creative way to get into baking (or enhance your skills), especially because you can be so unique with each one! Before you know it, you’ll be making tarts like you’re in your own version of the Great British Bake Off.
Homebody Mug
$20.00
As a homebody myself, this little honeycomb mug was screaming my name. Why not drink coffee, tea, or hot chocolate out of something that radiates “home”?
Williams Sonoma Nonstick 6-Piece Set
$129.95
My mom has always owned Williams Sonoma cookware, and this set is very well loved in her kitchen. In my opinion, having the elements you need to make just about any dish or meal is key. I find that when I don’t have a certain pain or tray, I just ignore that specific recipe entirely. With this 6-piece set, you’ll never have to worry about that problem again! Time to make everything you couldn’t before!
Sheet Cake Cookbook
$22.99
If you know me in the kitchen, you’ll know my love for all things “sheet pan”. Sheet pan pizzas have taken the crown as my favorites to make, but with this Sheet Cake Cookbook, the pizzas might need to be nervous. Beautifully photographed and simply explained, I think every new and experimental baker needs this book in their arsenal.
Horizon Glassware
$9-$72
Surprise, surprise…my mom owns these too and OF COURSE they’re stunning. The best part? They’re pretty reasonable when it comes to price points. Sometimes, you just need a fun, elevated glass to drink your beverage of choice out of.
Cuisinart Elemental
$39.95
This mini-Cusinart is one of the most powerful little guys I’ve ever met in the kitchen. For beginners, it’s an essential. It chops like a master and saves so much prep time in the end. It’s compact too, so no matter the size of your kitchen, it’ll get the job done.
Oil and Vinegar Cruets
$20-$44
Every time I pull my olive oil or vinegar out of my cupboards, I wonder why I keep them up there in the first place. Then, after some quick thought, I realize that it’s because they don’t look nice! With these Oil and Vinegar Cruets, you can keep your oils and vinegars in a convenient place AND enjoy their stunning display in the meantime.
Nested Storage Bowl Set
$125-$155
Want tupperware but don’t want tupperware? I know what you mean. These nesting bowls are a three-for-one. They will look nice wherever you keep them in your kitchen, there are different size/style types, and they save space since they nest inside of each other. So, really, there are no cons to this set.
Kitchen Aid 3-Piece Pasta Roller and Cutter Kit
$159.95
If you know me, you know how much I love making homemade pasta…and this Kitchen Aid 3-Piece set it what makes the magic happen! I swear by these tools and really can’t live without them. If you’re trying to get into something new in the baking/cooking world, give this a try!
