If you’ve ever tried Jalapeño Poppers before, then you’ll understand why we had to create a recipe of our own. If you haven’t had the absolute pleasure of trying poppers before, though, let this be your introduction!
The process is simple to understand, but utilized a few equipment pieces that we don’t think you can live without. #1) rubber gloves for halving and hollowing out the jalapeños (attempting to take out contacts with hot-pepper-fingers isn’t fun), and #2) a spoon! Simply slice the jalapeños in half, remove the seeds with the spoon, and place on a baking sheet. Combine the cheese & sausage mixture in a bowl and scoop into each jalapeño half.
Pop into the oven, wait for them to get all bubbly and melted, and enjoy! If you like spice – you’ll LOVE this. Enjoy!
